Fort Simpson Kennels is owned and operated by William and Troy who have both received Fear Free certification and both have over 8 years experience working with dogs in a dog pound and kennel setting as well as dogs that have been abandoned or are in need of veterinary care. We have a lot of experience with animals that have not been socialized or had any training. Our experience allows us to recognize signs of fear, anxiety and stress while working with the animals in a way that promotes a safe and calming environment. We have also assisted many animals from the community with both emergency first aid and transportation to veterinary care.
We opened Fort Simpson Kennels to provide a safe and comfortable place for companion animals to stay while their families were traveling for work, vacation or even medical travel. We have 2 dogs and 3 cats of our own – all local rescues and we live on site.
